Preservación y montaje de mariposas

Duration: 2 sessions
This workshop introduces participants to the process of preserving and mounting butterflies, from rehydration and pinning to the final framed display.
During the first session, participants will prepare the specimen and create a taxidermy record. In the second, they will complete the final artistic mounting, combining technical precision with aesthetic sensitivity.
The workshop is designed to provide personalized guidance and ensure a hands-on learning experience in a carefully prepared environment.

Duration: 4 sessions
This course offers a critical and accessible approach to contemporary art. Drawing on authors such as Baudrillard, Kuspit, and Adsuara, participants will explore the concepts that shape current artistic practices and their relationship with society.
In addition to theoretical analysis, the course includes an art criticism workshop where participants can apply what they have learned to develop their own interpretations and aesthetic judgments. It is open to both artists and anyone interested in the subject, with no previous knowledge required.

VOL. 2
WHAT IS IT?
Plastic Sound is a project created with the aim of providing an alternative platform for artistic expression, where music and the visual arts engage in dialogue and complement one another. Although it is not part of ACHE Galería’s official curatorial program, the event reflects one of our strongest convictions: art should be diverse, accessible, and closely connected to the community.
In this second edition, we featured the participation of emerging artists who presented work across a range of disciplines, including photography, drawing, sculpture, and video. The artists who brought this exhibition to life were:
Abrahán Verástegui, Alejandro Cadena, Cam y Dibujo, DIONE, Elsa Fernanda (Elsa Pato), Emanuel Guzmán Valladares, Helios Serratos, Nax, and Octavio Vázquez.
The event aimed not only to showcase artworks, but also to introduce emerging talent from San Luis Potosí, providing a space for visibility, exchange, and connection among artists, audiences, and the broader creative community.
Performance: Sinfonía Terra
The opening of this edition was marked by the performance Sinfonía Terra by Guadalajara-based artist @menomenomenoz. The piece explored the origins of music through interaction with clay objects, creating a dialogue between sound, materiality, and ancestral memory.
The performance became a defining moment of the event, inviting the audience to reflect on the relationship between the organic, the sonic, and the human. In doing so, it reaffirmed the idea that art can become a language capable of reconnecting us with our deepest roots.

Plastic sound
Ache Galería is honored to host Plastic Sound, an event that merges music and art in a space dedicated to creativity and cultural dialogue.
For the first time, this event invites the public to experience music through the use of vinyl records in the Down Tempo style—a genre that encourages introspection and a deep connection with rhythm.
In addition, Plastic Sound will bring together a group of emerging artists from San Luis Potosí, who will present their works with the aim of showcasing the richness and diversity of local art.
This event was conceived as a platform to support and give visibility to emerging talents from our state, in line with Ache Galería’s commitment to promoting and disseminating art in all its forms.
Although this project is not part of the official curatorial program, Plastic Sound embodies the values of the gallery: to be a space that connects artists with the community, fostering dialogue and artistic appreciation.
