
Rodrigo Meneses

Doctor in visual arts from the Faculty of Art and Design of the UNAM, Master in History of Mexican Art from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí. Bachelor of Plastic Arts at the State School of Plastic Arts of San Luis Potosí.
In his projects, Rodrigo Meneses is interested in exploring the emotional, bodily reactions to different internal and external stimuli to make evident the conscious-unconscious communication systems. His artistic production experiments between the visual arts, expanded art, performance, installation and the limits with psychological methodologies and the tensions that are generated between these two fields. As the basis of his research processes are his archives made up of drawings, collages, sounds, videos and interviews that allow him to build signs that become body narratives.
He has held 11 individual exhibitions and 40 collective ones, among which stand out at the IMCE Gallery Chicago USA, FourFOLD London England, Francisco Goitia Zacatecas Museum, CENART Mexico DF, Federico Silva Museum of Contemporary Sculpture San Luis Potosí, FARO de Oriente, DF, World Trade Center of the City of Mexico, Museum of Contemporary Art of Yucatan, Museum of Contemporary Art of San Luis Potosí and in the States of León, Puebla, Aguascalientes, Querétaro and Michoacán.
Having as distinctions: Prize in painting in the Contest November 20 Raúl Gamboa of the State of San Luis Potosí 2020, Honorable Mention XVII José Guadalupe Posada National Engraving Contest 2010, Honorable Mention National Encounter of Young Art 2009 and 2006, Scholar of the State Fund for Culture and the Arts 2011, 2009 and 2006, Honorable Mention for the Raúl Gamboa State Award 2009, 2006 and 2004. He has been selected in the International Triennial of Painting in Tijuana 2021, Centro Occidente Exhibition 2008, Alfredo Zalce National Biennial 2007, Contest National Painting José Atanacio Monrroy 2007, Art Fest 06 WTC 2006, National Biennial of Visual Arts of Yucatan 2006 and 2015.
His work belongs to the collections of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí, UASLP, Potosino Institute of Fine Arts, IPBA, Graphic Arts Workshop "La Parota", Colima, Government of the State of Colima, National Center for the Arts, State School of Plastic Arts of San Luis Potosí, EEAP, Secretary of Culture of the State of San Luis Potosí.
He is currently a Full Time Professor of the Academic Coordination in Art of the UASLP. He was Director of the same unit from 2017 to 2020 and Coordinator of the Bachelor of Contemporary Art from 2016 to 2017. He was Coordinator of the plastic arts area of the Potosino Institute of Fine Arts from 2013 to 2015. He collaborates as a teacher with the University Center of the Arts and the Research and Postgraduate Institute of the Faculty of Habitat of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí. Founding member of what was the El Batán collective.

Study a Painting Specialty in San Carlos in 1979, and recorded in 1980 at the IPBA. From 1982 to 1985 he did engraving and lithography at the Lotja Workshop in Barcelona, Spain, with Maestro Daniel Argimon. He directed projects and centers of Artistic Development, such as the Center for Contemporary Graphics in San Luis Potosí from 1995 to 2010.

Mauricio Palos
San Luis Potosí, 1981
It explores a variety of themes related to human rights, migration, historical memory and conflicts related to the territory. In 2010, he published his first book called My Perro Rano, Crónicas de Centroamérica published by Editorial RM and one of his last books Is This Tomorrow published by Casa del Ahuizote in 2019 was Shorlisted en Arles, Les Recontres de la Photograhie, Prix Photo Text, 2019.
Member of the National System of Art Creators of Mexico 2019-2021. His work has been exhibited collectively at various international festivals, including Photoespaña and Fotofestival Knnoke in Heist, Belgium. as well as at Images singulières in Sète, France, the Bronx Documentary Center New York.
Individually, he has exhibited at the Centro de la Imagen, Mexico City, Manuel Álvarez Bravo Photographic Center, Oaxaca and the Museum of Contemporary Art of San Luis Potosí.
He is the founder of the Tenexcalco Cultural Center, an artistic and cultural center located in the Huasteca Potosina, which mixes activities such as the strengthening of local cultural knowledge, narrative workshops through radio, writing and the performing arts, in a rural area where the Mauricio's family is original.





Rebecca Uliczka
Berlín, 1985
Born in Berlin and raised in Mexico, she returns to Berlin to study Business Administration. Shortly after finishing this degree, he took a turn in his life and in his professional career, finding his vocation in author photography.
He forges his studies at the IDEP, Escola Superior d'Imatge i Diseny in Barcelona, and later combines them with a master's degree in Management and Analysis of Contemporary Art, focusing on the contemporary artistic photography market. With this, she reinforces her knowledge regarding photography, its development and its history, being able to interpret in a much more concrete way the path to follow to establish herself as a professional photographer later.
Their works reflect personal experiences influenced by the dialogue and clash between their cultural roots. His work captures the confrontation between the earthly and the spiritual, the material and the carnal, religion, beliefs, culture and customs – the societies that practice them and the time in which they are lived.
